"When I do for software update response is fw utd" was supposed to mean when I go into settings and tap on "about tablet" then tap on "system updates" then tap on "CHECK SOFTWARE UPDATE NOW" a grey box pops up and says " No update required-FW is utd!". Keep in mind that 'System update' menu in your Settings is more of joke by Android developers that has little practical reason for being there. But those are also a matter of your carrier or the manufacturer providing them to you, and if you're not receiving any that's also a sign your tablet just isn't being supported any longer.
